Centrum Inicjatyw Młodzieżowych “Horyzonty” is the Polish branch of the international non-governmental organization – Youth for Exchange and Understanding and the “heir” of the Kontakt YEU Poland association, which operated in Poznań in 1994-2003.
The Kontakt Association – a branch of the international non-governmental organization Youth for Exchange and Understanding was established in Poland in 1994 by a group of students from Poznań. The Kontakt Association operated until 2003, and then it was transformed into an informal group. At the turn of 2004-2005, the informal Kontakt Group changed its name to Horyzonty YEU Poland and was registered as an association in June 2006. In January 2008, Horyzonty YEU Poland was registered as an association of Centrum Inicjatyw Młodzieżowych “Horyzonty”.
The program working on the various activities connected to the districts in Poznan city. From language classes in schools and learning about non-formal education, to the events for the local community (culture evenings, intercultural activities). You will learn about various projects in the scope of the Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps, as well about project management and what are the benefits of many types of mobilities. Interculturality, social inclusion and tons of creativity to develop new initiatives! Wanna hear something cool? Each of the volunteers will have time to make their own project and express themselves.

Funded program to travel to Poland:
The volunteer will have the activity oriented trainings, Polish language classes, first-aid, non-formal education, intercultural trainings, language animations, non-violent communication workshop and so on. Also the volunteers will take part in On-Arrival and Mid-Term training organized by Polish National Agency of Europeans Solidarity Corps and Erasmus plus.

Benefits of Funded program to travel to Poland:
Volunteers are living in a student dormitory and waiting for you to join them! You will share the kitchen and bathroom, but have your own cool room with all the needed household appliances. What’s more – our office is in the city center – 10 minutes away from the dormitory! The volunteer will receive a card for the public transportation in Poznań (or citybike) if the estimated time for going to work will be more than 6 minutes by foot. Food is not provided, there are monthly food allowance payments.
