BI Norwegian Business School was founded in 1943 by Finn Øien as the Institute for Management Economics, hence the acronym BI.

The largest business school in Norway and the second largest in Europe. BI has four campuses with the main campus located in Oslo. The university has 845 employees consisting of an academic staff of 404 people and 441 administrative staff.

In 2015, BI Norwegian Business School had 18,728 students. BI is Norway’s largest supplier of economic and management competencies and skills with over 200,000 alumni since 1983.

BI Norwegian Business School is a private institution, accredited by NOKUT as a Specialized University Institution. BI has organized its academic activities into nine separate research departments covering all disciplines that can be expected in a modern European business school.

BI is currently ranked 49th in the Financial Times Ranking of European Business Schools. In 2009, Eduniversal ranked BI as one of the most influential business schools in the world with it being ranked 35th.

The BI-International Baccalaureate Scholarship is awarded to students who graduate from an International Baccalaureate (IB) program with a strong academic record, and it is open to both international and Norwegian applicants

Eligibility Criteria and Qualifications:

Applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria to benefit from Fully Funded Business School Scholarship to Study in Norway:

  • The candidate must have obtained a total of at least 33 points in the International Baccalaureate Diploma.
    Full study (30 ECTS) is offered each semester.
  • Students currently enrolled in the BI program are eligible to apply in their third year.
  • Other factors that may affect admission to the scholarship can be other academic achievements, GMAT/GRE/CAT scores, extracurricular achievements, and special personal achievements.
  • Candidates who have been awarded the scholarship must be prepared to be “BI Ambassadors”, act as speakers, assist with recruitment efforts and foster a good study environment. Details regarding responsibilities will be specified in the scholarship contract.




Benefits of Fully Funded Business School Scholarship to Study in Norway:

The scholarships will cover full tuition fees and a stipend for living expenses per semester, for up to two years.

The total scholarship value over the course of the degree program is approximately NOK 250,000.
