Sweden (Swedish: Sverige [ˈsvæ̌rjɛ] (About this soundlisten)), officially the Kingdom of Sweden, is a Nordic country in Northern Europe.

The Swedish higher education system distinguishes between a university and a university college. Universities are research-oriented and may award bachelor’s, master’s and doctor’s degrees in many academic fields, while university colleges usually focus more on applied sciences, and have only limited rights to award doctor’s degrees.

Students coming from Africa with a 3-year bachelor’s degree from these countries: Botswana, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia, Malawi, Namibia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Gambia, Swaziland, Tanzania, Uganda, Eritrea, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
Students coming from India or Pakistan hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Medicine, Pharmacy, Natural Science or Technology and have documented that the language of instruction was English.
